What is there left for Kanye to achieve? He's straddled the top of the hip-hop tree, turned 50 Cent into a laughing stock and earned himself plenty of indie credibility thanks to his readiness to sample uber-cool French knob-twiddlers Daft Punk. But where now for the self-styled great-one? If Graduation really is final part of a trilogy (following up on The College Dropout and Late Registration) then maybe it's the right time for West to take a rain-check, because this tune is Kanye-by-numbers.
Classic but slightly obscure sample - check. Bravado lyrics - check. Squelching Timbaland-style beats - check. Chart-topping pop hit? Well, maybe not this time. It's a shame that after the barnstorming first single he's decided to release this plodding, predictable trundle. His constant proclamations to greatness are appealing in a pop culture where so many bands claim to be "about the music maaaan", but with tunes like this, he'll end up looking rather daft.

Brillaint song. I dont normally listen to this type of music but Kanye is gold. This song is just as good, if not better than 'Stronger'. 5 stars!!
