Lorraine: 'Saved'
Lorraine were hotly-tipped 18 months or so ago, releasing one terrific single ('I Feel It') before they disappeared into the unknown. Or, perhaps, to Bergen, the city on Norway's west coast from whence they came. Whatever… now they're back with a rejigged version of the song that got electro-pop fans terribly excited first time around.

The new version of 'Saved' brings together the same choice ingredients as the old one: epic, widescreen synths, a Pet Shop Boys-in-ballad-mode rhythm track and lashings of Scando-pop melancholy. But this time it feels different: sharper, harder, more danceable. Lorraine, it seems, have been working out, and their muscular new look suits them better than we could ever have imagined.
