Katie Melua & Eva Cassidy: 'What A Wonderful World'
Ladies and gentlemen, this year's Christmas weepie has arrived. It's a duet between a folky, ingenuous guitar-strummer who died eleven years ago, and a folky, ingenuous guitar-strummer who's a big fan of the other folky, ingenuous guitar-strummer (the one who died). Confusing, eh? As you'd expect, all proceeds go to charity, but, somewhat surprisingly, it's only available at Tesco's. Hey, that's the world we live in, we suppose.

Thanks to the magic of studio trickery, Katie Melua's voice has been spliced seamlessly onto Eva Cassidy's tender, slightly sombre reading of 'What A Wonderful World’, recorded live back in 1996. The result is an emotive, beautifully-sung piano ballad that'll have you sobbing into your stuffing after too much Christmas Day sherry… which, if you hurry, is currently B.O.G.O.F. in aisle three.
