BWO: 'Sunshine In The Rain'
Bodies Without Organs (BWO) are the brainchild of Alexander Bard, a sort of gay, Swedish Pete Waterman who steered cult nineties Europoppers Army of Lovers and had a hand in Alcazar (phnarr). If you're in the market for camp, catchy disco-pop of the Steps variety, nobody does it better.

To give BWO a shot at UK chart glory, dance trio Soul Seekerz have given 'Sunshine In The Rain', their Swedish single from 2005, a club-friendly remix. The Seekerz' tactic? To bolster the original's melancholy electropop with some trancey synths and a throbbing house beat. It's the pop equivalent of using a blowtorch to light the candles on a birthday cake, but 'Sunshine In The Rain's gently insistent chorus is strong enough to survive. Just.

I've been listening to BWO since 2005. This was the first song I heard and loved everything else since then. Just got their 3rd album, great stuff, hope they do well, but you know the British charts!

Love it. Love it. Love it. I thought it was Erasure at first - doesn't it sound like them? What a brilliant, fun tune and really catchy. Have a listen to their other songs - they're nearly as good.

I agree the song is perfect pop, very good. However it's only available on itunes, so I think the record company in the uk is letting them down.
