Though Timbaland's beats are as tack-sharp as ever, and the over-dubbed Hilson/Scherzinger chorus harmonies sound pretty tremendous – 'Scream' just doesn't have the wow factor of his best singles, 'The Way I Are' and 'Apologise'. In fact, with its funky guitar licks and unrelenting sexual swagger, it's little more than a 21st century update of 'Stayin' Alive' – minus, of course, the ear-splitting falsetto.

Dont really like it that much
Not a fan of Timbaland until I bought his latest album, and this is the best song from it. Great tune.
I agree with the review. The way I are and Apologize had a unique edge to it. They were both completely different styles yet worked birlliantly. Timbaland is a top artist/producer. But i feel putting nicole scherzinger into his track made it worse. She;s not that talented, shes only wanted for her looks more than anything! keri can go far. She needs more way i are songs, mind you none of the lovey dovey r'nb , no thank you! x
I love most of Timbaland's stuff, and this tune is definitely a good one.
