Taio Cruz has been knocking around the pop scene for a few years now, scoring a couple of top 30 hits with 'Moving On' and 'I Just Wanna Know' – decent R&B slow jams both – and co-writing Will Young's BRIT award-winning 'Your Game'. Now, thanks to new single 'Come On Girl', it's time for him to step into the spotlight.

In fact, this growling, fist-pumping electro-R&B monster is one of the most exciting singles of the year so far. Blessed with brilliantly full, turn-everything-up-to-eleven production, it features its very own "WTF?!" moment when Luciana, the vocalist from Bodyrox' 'Yeah Yeah', turns up for a show-stopping middle 8 cameo. His name is pronounced "ty-oh Cruise", by the way – you'll probably be needing to know that.
