Utah Saints: 'Something Good 08'

Re-mixed by Van She Tech, 'Something Good' may have lost its famous opening gambit, but other than that it's just as infectious and head-poppingly exciting as it was over a decade ago. With Bush's warbling vocals spliced between the tub-thumbing Utah beats, the chorus remains a prime slab of blissful dance music genius. In fact, unlike many of their contemporaries, Utah Saints' work has aged quite gracefully. Admittedly, this has been spruced up by noughties tech-wizards, but it's the original's tumbling beats and clunking keyboards that will have you re-learning those 'Big-Fish Little-Fish' dance moves.

This is one of the best dance tracks to be released in ages. After the GBP let so many great tunes slip through the net last year (D.A.N.C.E., Counting Down The Days, The Salmon Dance) I'm hoping there's a number one on the cards for this one. Is dance music set for a proper comeback this year, mayhap?
