'American Boy' finds her roping in pal Kanye to rap about WAGS and designer suits in a bid to rescue her career from free-fall. The sad thing is that it shouldn't have taken a guest spot from the self-proclaimed King of Hip-Hop to make this tune a hit. It already boasts bags of self-confidence ("Don't like his baggy jeans but I like what's underneath 'em," she purrs at one point), a winning chorus and sultry, super-sleek production from Will.i.am and John Legend. Glossier and smarter than most her contemporaries, all Estelle needs now are the record sales to match her obvious talents.

This song is excellent i never used to like estelle untill she brought this song out its superb
As you can probably tell from the previous reviews, this is a love/hate affair. Me? I LOVE it! They instrumental is very simple, so the main thing about this song is the vocals. Estelle has a fun sassy voice which is complimented by Kanye West's cute rapping. A very feel good tune. Perfect.

Estelle is a raw talent, she exudes confidence and sexuality. she's fab her music is second to none, evident by the fact that she has so much support from mega artists. This tune is FANTASTIC!!!
