'Maybe', his follow-up single, is a slushy R&B ballad in the Ne-Yo/Mario vein. With its souped-up bassline, sugary chorus and twinkly, eighties-style keyboards, it's sure to sound great booming out of a BMW convertible on a scorching summer's day. Sadly for Sean, this isn't quite enough. Though well-crafted in a 2004 kinda way, 'Maybe' sounds a tiny bit dull next to the gleamingly modern British R&B being made by Taio Cruz at the moment. You haven't heard of him? Well, he's a newer, hip...

I disagree....yesjay sean track would sound great booming out of a bmw but the song is deep and meaningful....definetely more than anough. i think its an excellent comeback tune and love every element of the song itself. vERY WELL CONSTRUCTED, BEAUTIFULLY SUNG...WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR IN A SONG. brilliant....10/10

I think Jay's original and his songs have depth... it's not everyday you hear a song that's sung from the heart...

It's alright I suppose and I concede and suppose it isn't very "gleamingly modern" when you compare it to Taio Cruz. I've definately heard of him, yes, most definately but I'm pledging my allegiance with Jay here because he's better looking and he makes marginally better, thoroughly average music too. Sorry Taio.
