Kylie Minogue: 'In My Arms'
Though it's patchy, frequently uninspired and, well, just a bit too safe, Kylie's X album isn't without its charms, being home to a handful of terrific pop moments. It certainly doesn't deserve the latest ignominy to have befallen it – being sold off for £6 at the two leading high street music retailers.

Fortunately, just in the nick of time, a white knight has arrived to save X from the bargain bins. He's tall, Scottish and more than acceptable in the world of late noughties pop music; he's trendy knob-twiddler Calvin Harris. Filling 'In My Arms' with a riot of fuzzy synths, a generous smattering of 'whooosh!' effects and a brilliant, arms-in-the-air chorus, he's given Kylie her most infectious single since 'I Believe In You'. The lesson to be learned? With the right collaborator, Kylie's still capable of creating dancefloor nirvana.

X was released in November, it got to No 4 in the album charts, it was a success. That was 6 months ago!!! I'm not surprised it's now selling for cheaper. No one is going to pay full price for an album which is 6 months old!!! Cracking song from a cracking album. Her world tour is a sell out, she's hardly on the skids. at least she can fill stadiums unlike Madonna.

Why why why was this not the first single? It could've saved the album. I lsorta ike "2 Hearts" more now but it should never have launched Kylie's return. Silly girl. And then she only went and released "WOW" which stank. However this third offering is far more palatable, cleverly hiding Kylie's very weak vocals behind oh-so-clever production. I wish I could get excited about this song but she missed the boat with this one. Too little too late - ooh now that was a good pop song. Take notes Kylie - oh wait - Kylie's management team take note.

Amazing tune one of Kylies best in fact but The One is pretty phenomenal too. She has to release that or someone has to get fired. Same goes for Britney, Toy Soldier has to be the next single. It could be huge!

A better song than the previous two X singles.. and back on form. The only thing that she needs is a White Diamond/ I Believe In You - esque record!! Keep em coming!

Fantastic song. A worthy follow up to 'Wow'. If there's any justice, this should be another massive hit for Kylie!

The song is catchy but it's ruined by Minogue's usual nasally tones. X has been in the bargain bins, selling for a fiver, since early February but it wasn't even worth that.
