Flo Rida ft. Timbaland: 'Elevator'
Over the last year-and-a-half, Timbaland has produced records by everyone from Bjork to Ashlee Simpson, Duran Duran to Madonna. He's also released a 19-track album of his own, Shock Value. There's no faulting his work ethic, but sadly it seems to have come at the expense of quality control.

So while 'Elevator' uses a similar template to previous Timbo smashes - beat-driven verses, smooth, synthy choruses, those "fricky-fricky" sound effects he used on 'Say It Right' and '4 Minutes' - it's hard to shake the feeling that he's going through the motions here. Flo Rida's rapping, though slick and confident, doesn't offer enough to lift this above mediocre. The lesson to be learned? Once in a while it, it does no harm to say no.

Well, it's not quite that bad really. What really upsets me are the two tramps standing next to Flo Rida on the single cover. Were they supposed to be sexy or something??
