Madonna plays a very bad girl

Another day on The Sound, another classic Madge video for Digital Spy's Madonna Week. Today we're featuring 'Bad Girl', an underrated ballad from the Erotica album with an equally underrated video. We have our reasons for picking it, as we're about to explain.
It's essentially a mini-movie in which Madonna plays a hard-drinking, chain-smoking, knicker-dropping career woman whose life has very little meaning. Christopher Walken appears as the Angel of Death, so you can probably guess what happens in the end, but the whole thing is sad, beautiful to look at and quietly shocking.
In case you were wondering, yes, that really was Madonna licking cat food off her finger.

I LOVE this video, this is the Madonna i love and admire the most. She was amazing back then and always came up with fantastic art. Where did it all go wrong?

A great video, and yes... an under-rated song from an under-rated album... If the Sex book hadn't accompanied Erotica's release, I think it would been reviewed more positively for it's music, rather than panned for it's themes!

Love the video and song.. so right, its underrated and got to no 10 in the charts which was awful. But at the time she was getting a huge backlash for the SEX book and therefore this song and the equally amazing "Deeper and Deeper" and "Rain" were forgotten. Love the clip, Christopher Walken is amazing in it - its touching and very thought provoking. Madge looks SEXY too what a vamp!

Love the video, the guy who murders her at the end of the video is super sexy, mhh.
