I THINK ITS BRILLIANT, I HAVE HIS 1ST 3 C.D.S. AND WILL BE GETTING HIS 4TH AND CAN`T WAIT TO HEAR IT. I THINK THE VIDEO IS REALLY GOOD.
Chrissy, Lancashire on August 31st, 2008
I really like it and I think the video is quite excellent.
Fred, Swansea on August 30th, 2008
complete crap
Barb, London on August 26th, 2008
Its total rubbish.
Boli, Hastings on August 26th, 2008
The single is crap and the video is awful (he's so wooden!). Only hope, for his sake, that his wish comes true! Guess now that Cliff is no longer around, the older ladies will love this one!
Petra Brady, Oxford on August 23rd, 2008
I hope the rest of the album isn't as bad as this single. Very disappointing. Its drab and so repetitive.
Al Shaw. Bridlington on August 22nd, 2008
Sorry but disappointed at Wills comeback single Will reckons this is his best album yet but i find this track quite monotonous and boring , i was wanting it to end.The vid was better than the music track. But nothing to get excited about.
Nick, Essex on August 21st, 2008
Very Mundane and dull. Not impressed.
Chas, Birmingham on August 21st, 2008
dull! dull! dull! An extremely disappointing release from Will, especially coming after a three year break. Will has become blandness personified. Boring, safe, predictable etc. etc. etc. we've heard it all before - and whatever happened to that once great voice?
Briony, Sheffield on August 21st, 2008
This song is nothing special and the video is a mess. That recent comment about having `brainpower' however, is just the kind of comment from Will Young fans which make people want to see him fail. You love to give the impression both you and he are more intelligent than other artists and fans of other artists. He may have been to University and you all may have more money to throw around than most, but that doesn't make you any more intelligent. In fact it shows less common-sense and makes you look pathetic.
As for the video, it's the type of complex cinematic promo Will excels at - thought provoking, full of imagery and demanding some brainpower from the viewer.
How very patronizing. Just what you'd expect from a Will Young fan. This single is completely boring.
Joanna, Richmond on August 21st, 2008
This is not a song I would wish to hear more than once.It is hardly upliftng.I find it pessimistc and dreary. Will has to do much better and he should think of a original title.
Val, West Midlands on August 21st, 2008
Changes is the launch of what is shaping up to be Will's most personal and introspective album yet. That doesn't necessarily equal depressing, those insiders who've heard it say it's quite jazzy and dancey and Changes is more "old school" Will compared to the rest of the album. He's been going down a storm at the festivals, and bear in mind Will's fans didn't know he'd be there until all the tickets were sold out so it WASN'T all his "devotees" packing the tents out (or writing the positive reviews). As for the video, it's the type of complex cinematic promo Will excels at - thought provoking, full of imagery and demanding some brainpower from the viewer.
Katie, Hampshire on August 20th, 2008
This is probably Will's worst single to date. Surely he could come up with something better than this, and the video is so dull and depressing. If this is a sample of what to expect from his new album then I will not be buying it.
Jo Blakeson on August 20th, 2008
Not his best single by far and the video is dull and depressing.
Richard, Hull on August 20th, 2008
I liked this, builds up nicely and is memorable from the first listen. It's not going to take the chart by storm, but its good to have will Young bringing music out again after his acting turns.
Col, Leeds on August 20th, 2008
a grower. great to see will looking as hot as ever,
Emma, Cheshire on August 19th, 2008
love it, love will young!
Bob, Hertfordshire on August 19th, 2008
I dont know what to think,i thought it would be different to his old stuff, but it sounds the same.I am afraid i dont like it.
Carol, Kent on August 19th, 2008
it's a droning mindless dirge. He used to be good, but he's gone right off!
Barry, Manchester on August 19th, 2008
You're right `round round round' that's all it does. So repetitive. Load of trash. Time for him to have another breakup with his partner, or a new relationship again just in time for the release of this rubbish. Wasn't that what happened last time. He's a total p***
Nicky, Hertfordshire on August 19th, 2008
Not a very original title, George Michael had a single called Changes and so did Gareth Gates and thats only the ones that spring to mind. The song also not very original and sounds very similar to another song but can't think which at the moment. I think he will have to do better than this to make an impact, rather dissapointing.
Samantha, Manchester on August 19th, 2008
I dont think much of the song, dont think its a very good comeback song.very poor.
Andy, Herts on August 19th, 2008
Switch It On was my favourite of all Will's songs. I don't think it was received too well so the record label soon bulldozed Will into releasing more ballads. He was one of the artists I felt would not be told by his bosses, but I was obviously wrong. I quite like this new track but wished he had been a little bit more brave, folowed his Switch It On instinct and gone a tad uptempo.
Julie, Bolton on August 19th, 2008
Watch out the Will Young fans are out in force! I'll wager that there is not one positive post on here which hasn't come from one of his 'Devoted' fans. When it comes to Will any bland, derivative, bleating old pap is hailed by them as a masterpiece and woe betide anyone who begs to disagree.
Amanda, London on August 19th, 2008
Wonderful stuff from the gorgeous Mr Young. Beats most of the dross screeching out of my radio and t.v. Fab video too, how refreshing not to have some 'booty' shaking out of the screen.
Shelly F, Norfolk on August 19th, 2008
Loved it.The video is "different",but those of us in rural locations might understand the possibility of a cow in a petrol station!
Alfie, Cheshire. on August 19th, 2008
I love Will Young's new single. It shows off his vocal perfectly. I think this song is a grower. I've also heard a couple of other tracks from his new album Let It Go and they are brilliant. As for the video another masterpiece from from WY! It's very dark and quite bleak but fits with the song. Welcome back Mr Young you've been missed.
Frankie, Toronto, Canada on August 19th, 2008
Like the video, not the song so much unfortunately.
Samantha , Brighton on August 19th, 2008
Very disappointing. Sounds just like all his other stuff. There's never any variety or diversity with Will, his voice always sounds the same, high pitched and squeaky. I also find the video very disjointed and a patchwork of several others. Probably in for another carbon copy of the other three albums then.
D.Morton, West Midlands. on August 19th, 2008
This Song and Video is the best Will has done to date.. Brilliant.
Jon, SW on August 19th, 2008
Trash, what a total and utter dissapointment. This album is gonna be about as exciting as Kylie's X
Alex, Essex on August 19th, 2008
Not so good as some of his previous songs. My rating is 3 out 5.
Sajjad Ali, Bolton on August 19th, 2008
i like the video and i think the songs great
Kayleigh, Birmingham on August 19th, 2008
Love this song! Who cares if it sounds like anyone else's song? One of my fave Will songs, although I love them all anyway. Really shook off the Pop Idol image, vid is fab too!! x
Ben, Birmingham on August 19th, 2008
It sounds distinctive up till the chorus, where it suddenly crashes into dullness and may as well be a Duffy/Adele/insert-any-bland-singer-songwriter song.
Claire, Lincoln on August 19th, 2008
I am a huge fan of Will Young's previous work, but not keen on this new single - could be a grower though. But at the moment not got a hit written all over it I'm afraid.
Anna, London on August 19th, 2008
2 years wait and it's a copy of 'You Give Me Something'. Video is dull. I won't bother with the album if this is a taster to what it's about. Boring stuff.
Jon, Essex on August 19th, 2008
Loved it! Although, I don't know why it is being called his comeback single. I would hardly say it is that ... it's not as if he has been away for years like The Spice Girls or All Saints were. That said, I can't wait for the album!
Luke, Lancashire on August 18th, 2008
It's definitely got a very catchy chorus and it builds up to a great finish, I like it a lot and the video is a diamond compared to what's being shown on the music channels of late.
