Christina Aguilera premiered her new single at the VMAs last night - 'Keeps Gettin' Better', as you may recall, is the title track from her upcoming greatest hits set. Her sassy, slickly-choreographed performance began with minute or so of 'Genie In A Bottle', reworked for the occasion as a pulsating electropop song, before she segued into a full rendition of 'Keeps Gettin' Better', a similarly pulsating electropop song.

Actually, 'Keeps Gettin' Better' sounds a bit like something from Goldfrapp's Supernature album, though we can't imagine Alison Goldfrapp singing a line like: "Sometimes I'm a super b**ch..." Truth be told, it isn't one of Christina's boldest singles, but it's a welcome change from what she was up to on Back To Basics and will more than hold its own on her greatest hits album. If you haven't heard it yet, 'Keeps Gettin' Better' leaked over the weekend and is now all over YouTube.
