When we spoke to Alesha Dixon at the Kids' Choice Awards last month, she described her new single as "bottled happiness". Well, 'The Boy Does Nothing' had its radio premiere yesterday and we're pleased to report that the Strictly champ wasn't telling porkies - it's an absolute carnival of a pop song.

Produced by Girls Aloud collaborators Xenomania, it sounds a bit like 'Mambo No 5' with a sprinkling of Althea & Donna's 'Uptown Top Ranking' thrown in for good measure. It's stupidly catchy and just what we need to warm our cockles as the weather turns Antarctic.

Alesha's on cracking form too, telling the lazy sod of the title to improve his dance moves. "I wanna see you shake your hips and learn," she sings, before laying down an ultimatum right at the end: "If the man can't dance, he gets no second chance." Something tells us the video, which Alesha describes as a "big dance number", is going to be a hoot.
