Take That's winning streak continues

Take That's new single had its first radio play this morning and it's another winner from the veteran boyband/national pop treasures. 'Greatest Day' is a big, rousing pop song that sounds like a cross between Snow Patrol and 'Rule The World' - in other words, we're going to be hearing a lot of it on the radio.

The lyrics aren't exactly original, but lines like "Stay close to me, watch the world come alive tonight..." sound pretty good as Gary Barlow sings them, strings swelling and piano chords pounding behind him. Howard, Jason and Mark, meanwhile, are on harmony duties.

Interestingly, 'Greatest Day' is scheduled for release on November 24 - the same day as Britney's 'Womanizer' comes out. This has got to be the chart battle of the year, right?
