Lily Allen sings 'Womanizer'

In case you haven't heard it yet, here's Lily Allen's controversial cover of 'Womanizer'. If nothing else, this sultry, stripped back version of the song might provoke those who reckon it doesn't have much of a chorus to revise their opinion.
What do you think of Lily Allen's version of 'Womanizer'? Use the space below to have your say.

In my opinion, Britney's is better, but I like Lily's too.

Ah, so that's what the words are suppose to be!!! Much better than the original, although, no matter who sings it, all I can think about is Britney stomping around the stage on the x-factor...dear oh dear!!!

Withouth a doubt better than the original. Feels so much more real than Britneys but also makes me like the original more because know i actually know the words and understand the song which was I didn't because of the overcomplicated nature of Britney's version. And I don't know what Kevin's talking about because I just listened to it.

Why is this controversial? Its just Lily doing a simple cover of Britney's hit! I thought she might of parodied it but intead she just has a more cabaret East London version compared to Britney's electropop all American version!

I don't normally like Lily's style of singing but this works. I think the beauty is that the vocals have been kept largly the same as the original (with added mockney) and just the backing music has been stripped right back. Brit's version is still my fave, but good job. Funny how Brit's songs lend themselves so well to covers...

This is absolutely rubbish - Lilly allen can't sing, she just talks in a real boring tone.

Well it's been removed from YouTube so you can't see it but having heard it the other day it's really good. I think more artists should cover each others songs, gives you a different appreciation of the original work and also of the artist who is covering it.
