So, this new Black Eyed Peas single

We'll lay our cards on the table from the start. We've really enjoyed some Black Eyed Peas tunes, but there are others - *cough* 'My Humps' *cough* - that we've found as palatable as a chalk sandwich. The new one, however, is a cracker. It's called 'Boom Boom Pow' and it's a slightly ridiculous robopop stomper on which will.i.am boasts that his beats are "so big I'm steppin' on leprechauns".

As well as those leprechaun-squashing beats, it features lots of Auto-Tune, no real chorus, surging techno synths that arrive about half-way through and this so-dumb-it's-genius couplet from Fergie: "I'm so 3008 - you so 2000 and late." We're making it sound like a bit of a mess, and it certainly isn't coventional, but 'Boom Boom Pow' really does hit the spot and it's already a number one across the pond. To answer Alex's question. It released on 25 May 2009. Anyways, this is a great comeback single this has to go number 1 for sure! It was about time! BEP ARE MY FAVOURITE GROUP!

I think its cool, its catchy and i think it will chart well, its a shame there is no singing but that dosen't bother me too much! a good comeback single, about time isn't it!

I Love It! I have been waiting for BEP to bring out new stuff. BEP are my favourite group ever. I love Fergie's line 'I am so 3008- you are 2000 and late.' This will be number one in the UK aswell I know it will. The song is great but not their best (like their legendary songs like where is the love?, shut up, my humps, don't phunk with my heart and pump it).

At first listen, I thought the song is impossibly stupid and pointless, but as I've been listening to it more and more, I realized It is simple, but in different, positive way and knew that it would later become a worldwide hit!
