Is there life after 'Boom Boom Pow'?

How on earth do you follow a hit that's spent the last nine weeks at number one in the States and is heading for a second spell on top in the UK tomorrow? With an unashamed party anthem built around a sample from David Guetta's 'Love Is Gone', that's how. 'I Gotta Feeling', the second single from the new Black Eyed Peas album, is a bangin' fusion of dance, pop, rock and electro that perfectly captures the thrills and spills of a night on the titles. That's a really good song, but seems a little strange of a strange choice for a B.E.P. single. It's the sort of track you can imagine being the last on the album to round if off on a good note.

Andy, I part agree with you. This song is terrible. But their first two albums, Behind the Front and Bridging the Gap were great. What's with the crazy robot voice... it sounds terrible. The lyrics are rubbish too.

Any song by the Black Eyed Peas is just awful. This is their worst single to date. They can't sing, write or do anything creative in my mind. Split up now please!

absolutely love it! so happy that they have changed musical directions. Don't get me wrong their older material was great too but they have just sort of re-invented themselves now and i love it! Also, i agree with the earlier post that "Meet Me Halfway" should be single number 3! or maybe "Missing You".

hmm its ok, but not as great as boom boom pow. dont think it can be a number 1. its average. possibly one i might get to love after a few listens though.

I genuinely think this is the best song and video they have ever made! It's perfect! And I think everyone can identify with the theme of the song! Fergie looks amazingly hot in this video and I love the chemistry between all four members! They all look like they're really enjoying being back together!
