cascada deserve no1? really? chavvy britney wannabe, its soooo unbelievably manufactured "feels like an overdose" oh, is that a good feeling? cos last time i checked, an overdose wasn't a good thing as for MJ songs...love them and all but no comment on the chart domination. I actually like gaga's new song; i like the lyrics! it's not very functional as a dance record like her previous releases but that's a good thing! i'm sick of hearing La Roux. I must be one of the only people who thinks "bulletproof" just isn't no1 material. Tbh, i'm over BEP cos when they first came out with "where is the love" there was a lotta promise for them to deliver better than the last few singles. where are all the acoustic acts?! Brett Dennen and Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly deserve no1s respectively but you can't really dance to them and they have proper meaning so i guess they don't fit the criteria.

what the hell is wrong with people??? battlefiels should definitely get into the top 10 and i think it should be number 1!! get buying or downloading it people jordin sparks deserves better!! how can cascada get to number 2 and jordin only reach a peak of 11?? disgraceful!!
Kayleigh, Manchester on July 2nd, 2009
imo, that jls song is just plain s**t.. but sadly, it probably will hit the top 10 but it certainly won't go to #1 cuz tbh, its shit and the tvs and radios are already killing it..

@James & all the other musically challenged Chavs posting here! Why do Chavcada deserve to be number 1? What have they given to the world of music other than cheap tacky covers, a Lady GaGa rip-off, rubbish videos & a big lass who can't dance or sing live & looks like Hulk Hogan in a dress? Michael Jackson 'The King of Pop' v Chavcada "The Queen of Chavs!! If Chavcada do make number 1, it really will be the Day That Music Died!!!!!
James, Manchester on July 2nd, 2009
Cascada for Number 1! C'mon Natalie, Manian and Yanou... You can do it! Cascada are the only group that truly deserve number 1 on sunday. Michael Jackson has died, very sad, but why should he go to number 1 for that?
Rich, Glasgow on July 1st, 2009
We want an mj song to go to no1

Battlefield is a good song but it has several factors going against it. The first is its similarity to other recent Ryan Tedder produced singles, namely ‘Halo’ and the far superior ‘Bleeding Love’. People are beginning to tire of Tedder’s over produced, grandiose, pseudo dramatic sound and while it worked brilliantly on Bleeding Love, the trick is not quite repeated on Battlefield. Secondly, Jordin Sparks does not have the personality to carry off the ‘battlefield as a metaphor for a painful relationship’ lyrics. She has marginally more edge than a Disney pop star and it is hard to believe she has ever experienced pain, let alone the bloodbath of a battlefield. Thirdly the video is extremely poor. A good video can take a song to new avenues and transform people’s perceptions but this video does neither. Early singles ‘Tattoo’ and ‘No Air’ suited her ‘good girl’ persona while Battlefield serves only to highlight Jordin’s limitation. She simply cannot create the image the song projects. In the hands of a more capable artist, Battlefield would be number one.

I want Cascada to be #1. I'm sorry, but it's not fair now that Jackson dies he gets to be #1 again.. that ruins Cascada's position.
RJ, Oxford on July 1st, 2009
Frankly, if any song was going to go top I would have thought "Thriller"...
Thom, Newcastle on July 1st, 2009
I cant say im surprised at Battlefield, firstly Jordin doesnt have the most amazing voice, but to be honest i dont think thats whats done it. I mean, you need to have a song people can have fun singing along to and there is only so much time before "you better go n get your armour gets old". Also, although the video looks good, its just plain boring with nothing really happening, it doesnt even look like a battlefield, just like a firework display which makes it look like its on a buget , which it is but with a great video it would of easily been top ten. As for Cascada, im baffled how What hurts the most only got to number 10 and this is so high but then i suppose dance acts are more for summer and WHTM was a little too ballad-like for some of their fans maybe. Also, i didnt feel that In for the kill (i know a lot of people dissagree) should of been no.1 but im glad Bulletproof did it i love the chorus. Also, MITM is my favourite MJ song, ive never been a huge fan of him but that song has always stuck with me and i cant believe it wasnt number 1 when it was released originally!
Baby, London on July 1st, 2009
I don't think promo means anything with a song like battlefield. Look at paparazzi with no promotion at all and it will prob hit no.1. If people really liked battlefield it would be top ten regardless of promotion. I think the song is good but is slightley overhyped. I think the video lets it down too.
Glen, Manchester on July 1st, 2009
I dont get the hype around Battlefield, its an average song! If only Work wasnt flopping so hard!
Ben, London on July 1st, 2009
JORDIN SPARKS !! urgh lol ok no air went in good position in the charts cause it had chris brn but at least she did PROMOTION with hos, unlike tattoo one step at a time and now battlefield, :'( it really shud of been number 1, k shes on tour with jonas bros but dont release it at a time when u no ur busy lol silly management so gladdd saturdays is failing sorry, but now there liek the sugababes have singles all over the place , and GAs can still rules the roost with chart placing.
James, Watford on July 1st, 2009
Battlefield a couple of places OUTside the top 20? what a shame, can't understand it, i guess sometimes these strange things happen in the charts. i'm still hoping MJ holds on at the top, though i'm sure it will be very close. can we have an album update on friday on La Roux vs. Jacko please? thanks
Oli, Leeds on July 1st, 2009
Is La Roux still top of the album charts? I really hope Work and Battlefield can get top 10, theyre both great songs, especially Battlefield, i was certain that would be a huge number 1!!! :/
Shaun, Herts on July 1st, 2009
Cascada are at the top of the iTunes chart; I wouldnt be surprised if Evacuate The Dancefloor has the lead by Sunday! Battlefield's progress is ridiculous and it's a shame Work is flopping!
