Will Young is having a baby...

... in his new video of course! He gets his blood pressure checked (very sensible).
He takes a bit of light exercise.
He attempts to achieve inner calm (easier said than done when you're all bloated up like a big old sow).
And finally, he relaxes on the sofa with a tub of something tasty.
Will Young's 'Hopes & Fears' video premieres tomorrow at 3.40pm on Channel 4, for those who are interested. The track itself is vintage Will by the way - a thoroughly classy adult pop song with more than a touch of Diva-era Annie Lennox about it. When we come to review it, we'll be popping
at the bottom of the article.

Lighten up please! It's a bit of fun, a play on stereotypes. I love it, it's funny and touching and the song is great. Will Young is a truly original artist and he sings great too.

You've hit the nail on the head there. Beyonce was successful with a similar vibe, so Will Young copies her idea, just like he always does. He'll do anything to grab attention. Its wrong, wrong, wrong, but no more than anyone should expect from him.

Why is this 'so wrong'... didn't Beyonce do a video with this sort of twist on it? I think so! Did it become a major hit for her? oh yeah.. wait it did! Quit your moaning... jeeeez!

I love both the SONG and THE VIDEO.I find both POIGNANT , the video is so touching and has lovely touches of SENSITIVE humour. Wills vocals are PERFECT, PURE CLASS!!

It's a cute, funny, heartwarming video backing up an addictive, upbeat song which is a great direction for Will to go in (5 stars, surely?) He really is one of the UK's best pop video artists. My only complaint is it's much better to watch the video not having seen spoilers like this because the reveal would be a total surprise.

The video is such fun but with really sad moments too. I love the track, it gets stuck in your head though so be warned.
