Girls Aloud have always been generous with B-sides - 'Memory Of You' and their 'Megamix' are two of our flipside picks of the year - and it seems Cheryl Cole is just as keen to give us something extra on her first solo offering, 'Fight For This Love'.

In contrast to the sleek synths and R&B-ish beats of the A-side, 'Didn't I' is a tender, piano-led ballad that - having listened to her upcoming album Three Words in full - is probably the closest she gets to her Girls Aloud origins. It's subtle and understated, but Cheryl gets the thumbs up for delivering the melody with genuine conviction.
