So, did anyone else say something unprintable on a family website when they saw Chezza's sales figures?

Whitney is magnificent, keep it up. The sprint capital of the world loves you

It is truly the day the music died if FFTL can sell so much and outdo even Robbie. The song stink and is not well produced or sung. Please no more Cheryl you are truly crap.

I find it astonishing, that anyone is actually buying Cheryl Coles single. She cannot sing, she mimed, her performance was pathetic,at least Whitney Houston sang live, she nailed her song,Cheryl did'nt. Alexandra deserves to stay no.1,but unfortunately, due to XFactor, for Cheryl she won't.Pathetic!!

Dean, I am not a fan of cheryl's song, but her 'attack' on the twins was totally justified. They are terrible, and should have been voted out by now.
Jess, Newcastle on October 20th, 2009
So glad Cobra and Alphabeat are in the top 20. Here's hoping Cobra can get higher there and awesome band. I love Cheryl (and though she put on a great performance on Sunday) but her song is terrible. Really don't think she deserves number 1

It looks like that Cheryl Cole is going to be number one for next week's singles chart knocking off her finalist winner Alexandra Burke. But it will be almost a year since she was at number one with the band Girls Aloud with 'The Promise' and giving them the girls' fourth concestuive chart-topper and a number one album. I hope Alexandra Burke gets the number one album, Michael Buble is on The X Factor this weekend.

Please stop this awful song getting to No 1 what has happened to peoples taste in music FFTL is crap.I am sure her performance on X-factor proved she cannot sing and her CD is worse.
Neil, London on October 20th, 2009
I am truly shocked that so many people have wasted money on Cheryls song.It is truly one of the worst songs of the year and it is a disgrace that someone so talentless is going to be No 1.It would not surprise me if her record company were not buying up copies.
Iain, Ayrshire on October 20th, 2009
The woman is stunning and I'm gad she's #1 in midweek sales.
Katy, Manchester on October 20th, 2009
Congrats to Cheryl! I read on Yahoo! that she's already shifted 200,000 copies and that's pretty amazing! Well done to her! I'm not particularly surprised, to be honest though. I'm glad 'I Got Soul' is doing well but 'The Spell' is an absolutely brilliant pop song and needs to get into the Top 10 at least! Grr

I hope leona breaks her record with Happy simply this is the only song that deserves massive sales these days ...
Dean, Newport on October 20th, 2009
I can't believe so many people are buying it. She sounded like a dying bird on Sunday evening! And she showed her foul personality with her attack on John and Edward on Saturday! The woman is horrid!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CHEZZA! HELL YEAH!
Rachel, Medway on October 20th, 2009
don't see how cheryl's sales are so good :/ come on she really isn't that good, well her vocals aren't anyway. must be the xfactor, would much rather see whitney as number 1
Dr House, London on October 20th, 2009
Sorry, but is anyone listening to the same song as me? Cheryl Cole's effort really is pretty poor with really corny lyrics - as I read elsewhere, its a bit like something Victoria Beckham used to churn out. Extremely surprised by its success - can anything stop the x-factor bandwagon?
Jay on October 20th, 2009
nopee, bleeding love sold less than that over 4 days?! which is pretty madd!! i do love cheryl but those sales figures are unbelievable, considering how well leona sung bleeding love.. oh well :) xx
Gareth, Gloucester on October 20th, 2009
I'm sure Cheryl will have over 200,000 sales by the end of the week. Happy Alphabeat are top 20 but would like them to climb to top 15 at least. Hopefully Million Dollar Bill's success will convince Radio 1 and 2 to playlist her, MDB is brilliant.
Tommy NI on October 20th, 2009
Cheryls song is great deserves the top spot and it seems its doing well poor alex only holdin the title of most sales in 1 week in 2009 for 1 week this song is goood 2
Ols on October 20th, 2009
Wowzers, 130,000 on the first day?! That's pretty spectacular... be interesting to see how much it gets by the end of the week. Did Bleeding Love even sell that much in one day?
Simon, Brighton on October 20th, 2009
Wow, power of X Factor on the record-buying public. Don't get me wrong, I really like Fight4ThisLove, but doubt without her brilliant performance on Sunday's show, it would have shifted as much as that. Had Whitney not have looked and sang like she was high, maybe Million Dollar Bill would have been a bigger hit too.
James, Watford on October 20th, 2009
see? anyone who's anyone can hear that Cheryl's song is average at best, but because it's Cheryl Cole, thousands of young girls will go wild for it and buy it. what a farce.
Kerry on October 20th, 2009
i knew cheryl would be number 1 but i am glad she is number 1 as i love her song 'fight for this love' and it good to see a member of girls aloud get a solo number 1.
Tom, Liverpool on October 20th, 2009
welll done cheryl just need to get young soul rebels to Number 2 i dont like chipmunk i hope cheryl gets number one she derserves it xx
