Update: 'X Factor' stars, Leona, Shakira

Getting peckish? We certainly are, but this should help pass the time 'til lunch.

  • The top three on the singles chart remains an X Factor finalists - Black Eyed Peas - Jason Derulo affair.

  • Lady GaGa's 'Bad Romance' has neither risen nor fallen since yesterday.

  • Further down, Pixie Lott's 'Cry Me Out' and Shakira's 'Did It Again' have both cracked the top 25.

  • Agnes's 'I Need You Now' has managed to sneak a couple of places inside the top 40.

  • However, there's no sign of Little Boots's 'Earthquake' or Ellie Goulding's 'Under The Sheets' in the top 40 at the moment.

  • Over on the albums chart, Leona's built a comfortable lead over JLS, having shifted around 76,000 units to the boys' 55,000. N-Dubz are still in the top five, while Will Young's just a couple of places outside now.

  • So, do we think Leona's got it all sewn up like a patchwork quilt?

But Jay-Z, Keys are number one in the U.S. and as for the moment, it does not look like the BEP will not be overtaking mid-week sales now because of the charity single You Are Not Alone being at number one in the update on Friday.

Jack, of course in the grand scheme of things for a winner of a singing reality show in the UK to even go near the US Top 10 is amazing. But on the other hand, a 65-70% decline in her first week sales since just last year is never good news. I guess it depends on what soin you put on it, but a lot of people are reporting it as very disappointing.

There's nothing wrong with 'scaping the top 10' in America Paul. It's a damn sight more than most people manage.

Jason Derulo should be number 1, not this X Factor drivel once again.

I always said the US would be the real test for Leona & this album... it's on course to sell about 60-65k & should just scrape the Top 10. Far cry from her #1 entry with Spirit just a year ago.

Can you us know how Britney is doing this week?

Well done leona for getting no.2 with Happy! sure it's not the top spot but it's the next best thing! lets hope the album remains at the top, it's fantastic!

Thought Leona would be a LOT more... how many sales for the week is she on course for? Also thought Shakira would be doing a lot better with the XF promotion. Glad to see Bad Romance is still going quite strong!

Does Digital spy only get chart positions for the top 40? Or can you let us know what chart positions people are at out of the UK top 40? As it isn't the be all and end all! lol x
