I'm guessing Mariah will get a place around 25-30 next week.

I don't know why there's this so much importance shown about where an artist gets in the singles charts. Surely the album chart is the most important?

Yeah, I sure hope that Lady GaGa is going to be on X Factor! She desrves a number one with Bad Romance =D

very glad leona is number1 album wise. even if she is overtaken which i doubt you cant call over 115k a flop. next week will be interesting. rihanna ladygaga and derulo. then x factor as well. tough battle

such a shame what the xfactor is doing; any other time of the year and Tik Tok by Kesha would be number 1 i think! and same with Bad Romance, however ive heard that shes going to be on the semi final night, which would be better than the final, coz the winners song will be number 1 after that night!

Really hoping Bad Romance get's to number 1!

Dan, i've heard some people in the forums say that Gaga will possibly be on x factor in the first week of december, but there's no telling how reliable they are. hope it's true though, she'd show those wannabes how it's done. i doubt she will get to no.1 without being on x factor, possibly top 5. hope Ke$ha gets top 5 soon too.

MC's album might get a top 10 but the singles won't. I would love it if Obsessed enters top 40 next week. SuBo is no doubt going to dominate the album charts.

Definately Lady Gaga will be number one next week...she is going to be on x-factor in december...apparently rumour has it she's booked for the final so my guess is she's gonna do a duet with one of the finalists!

Is tehre any chance fo Gaga getting a week on X Factor? This could get her to the top spot. Doubt Mariah will make top 10...would love her to (even though frankly she doesn't deserve it with that track).

I'd normally agree with what you've said about Mariah, but, I saw her on Alan Carr last night and she did give it socks for the last part of the song. I was expecting all wispy vocals which would be a damp squib for such a power ballad - thankfully she gave her lungs a workout!!

Hopefully Miss GaGa will get to number one eventually, like with Pokerface. But due to the power of the X-Factor i doubt she will get this. Probably Top 5, maybe Top 3. Fingers crossed though for Number 1.

maybe Gareth but Shakiras song is weak compared to ' She wolf' and Mariah Carey is performing a big well known cover version that has been a number one in the past, I think she will do better than Shakira :)

Mariah won't make the top ten next week when her single is released. Performing on X Factor didn't help Shakira. Mariah no longer has a strong voice, so her performance will be undercharged. She will totter on and put on a stagey performance, but it won't contain much in the way of power vocals.
