3 words to describe this song ' IT IS RUBBISH' I think Cheryl needs to improve her vocal ability by either hiring either Kimberly Walsh's or SuBo's vocal coach. Cheryl should just stick to being a judge/ mentor on the x factor because lets face it she is a brunette barbie doll. However Cheryl is a better judge than Sharon Osbourne who is a bitter/ hypocritical manufactured barbie doll.

I've been bored silly with Cheryl 'Homogenised' Cole's safe solo efforts thus far - but this is absolutely stunning. Breath-taking, in fact. Kinda like what I'd imagine Bjork would produce, if she woke up and came over 'all pop' one morning. Amazing. Properly amazing. I'll buy this!

Whilst I found some redeeming factors with 'Fight for this Love' I have been unable to do so with this effort. The GA fans will probably hate it and rightly so, but unfortunately the tweens who worship at the altar X-Factor will buy it in their droves. Obviously some DJ is gonna remix the hell out of it and it will be played ad-nauseum in the club scene, so there will be no escaping it. Oh the joy.

Ha ha! Good on the UK for trying to produce a pop star that they THINK might have international success. Sorry folks. Not going to happen. Cheryl won't make it internationally. She is a total bore. The only reason she is so famous in the UK is because their aren't any other pop stars around over there. If the UK produced a pop star with a voice, that's beautiful, can dance and has personality and doesn't ride their husband's infidelity to the ends of the earth, then you guys MIGHT can redeem yourselves for producing this crap! Waiting for Nadine Coyle!

Gosh she is so retarded. I'm sorry but she won't have success in the U.S. that's for sure. I don't know about the rest of the world but if Leona is struggling with her second album over here (and she's actually beautiful and can sing) then Cheryl Cole most certainly won't make it over here. We will take Susan Boyle. You guys can keep Cheryl.

3 words to describe this song 'IT IS RUBBISH'. Cheryl is much better at being a judge/ mentor on the x factor than being a solo artist. In my opinion Cheryl should hire either Kimberly Walsh's or SuBo's vocal coach if she wants to be a sucess as a solo artist.

Well, better song and video, IMO, than her first single. I hope she does well and it would be nice if it was released in Canada. :)
Daz, London on November 30th, 2009
Love the track, love the video. I've said time and again people seem to dislike a lot of Cheryl's solo stuff becuase they expect it to be more Girls Aloud than it is. She sings lower and there's a whole different emphasis to the music. I like the fact that she's not just riding on the coattails of GA stuff by copying it. As for 'not being deliberately negative' Padge, it's so nice you go on to call her Chavyl. Not negative at all, is it?
Dr House, London on November 30th, 2009
Goodness, how terrible. Not that I liked the first single but this is like some Dannii Minogue experimental b-side/album track
Sam, Devon on November 30th, 2009
This song sounds like a track that has been made specifically to get a bizarre remix for dancefloors and release on dance compilation albums...why she didn't release Parachutes I have no idea.

GaGa rip off GaGa rip off GaGa rip off

its a slow burner, i prefer it from 1.45 when the beat tempo changes, but still it won't going on my ipod....

Very boring video!! Not mcuh else to say really...
naughtynick, Hugh Jackmans husband on November 30th, 2009
overrated beyond belief - crap song, video is better, but its really repetitive, boring and guaranteed a no1.. MOST SADLY!
Padge, Boro on November 29th, 2009
Helen, people aren't being deliberately negative, it's just the song is so poor, and that coupled with Chavyl's complete lack of singing ability leaves little to be positive about! She should count herself lucky she has her looks and the X-Factor to rely on
FH, London on November 29th, 2009
Love Cheryl and loved Fight For This Love, but this is disappointing. I don;t mind the video, but the song is surprisingly boring. There are far better songs on her album - why did she chose this one as her 2nd single?! Maybe with will.i.am tagged on to it, she's hoping to take it to the US??

wow its lady gaga, oh wait its a lady gaga impersonater what is with all these stars copying lady gaga's sexy but funky image first beyonce (I like her btw but it felt so wrong) now the english stereotype called Cheryl Cole who may I add has the vocal range of a dead animal, face it girls aloud sold simply by sexy image soon as beyonce and gaga appear its like oh wait you can be sexy and have talent =girls aloud, the spice girls, all saints = DEAD
James, Watford on November 29th, 2009
the only thing that's "pretty damn amazing" is the amount of kids who will buy anything just because it has 'Cheryl Cole' written on it. we've seen that by the ridiculous sales of the painfully-obviously dull Fight For This Love. anyway, this video is so pretentious! looks like she's trying to copy Gaga in places, and the split-screen is annoying. it just seems as if she's trying to make some sort of serious statement about herself. and the song isn't great either, the lyrics (which are really bad) don't suit the song's style, and it takes too long to get going, then shortly after it does, it slows down again, and when Cheryl goes for the big notes, all it does is show off her lack of singing ability. i hope Girls Aloud's current hiatus ends as soon as possible.
James, Bournemouth on November 28th, 2009
A pretty damn good house track impressed!!! wouldnt of expected such a good dance track from her will be big in clubs! along with many remixes it actually is a good house track!!!
Matt, Cardiff on November 28th, 2009
More mid-tempo nonsense that doesn't go anywhere. Irritating split-screen video.
Daz, S.Wales on November 28th, 2009
Really awful!!! Not liking this at all. Doesn't have any umph and quite frankly let's all the frailty's that her voice has come through far too much and often. I'm suprised this was the 2nd release (I would have thought it no more worthy than a mediocre album filler) and even more suprised that Will.I.am has put his name to it. Come on Cheryl (and team of advisors) I'm sure you can manage far better than this.
Bob, Birmingham on November 28th, 2009
Drew - why does she 'deserve praise for going it alone?' Ridiculous comment - stans like you do nothing to help an artist like Cheryl. There will always be two sides to an artist like her, but I think she'd gain more respect by being honest that she doesn't have a great voice, rather than trying to find something else to like about her - singers should be judged on their voices. Otherwise, you could argue you should disrespect her music because she beat up a black toilet attendant, simply because she got ideas above her station...
phil, glasgow on November 28th, 2009
Defo one of my fav songs off the album! videos is amaaaaazin!
kerry on November 28th, 2009
i totally agree about cheryl trying to look like lady ga ga in this video, the song and video is not bad, but its like the camera just moving for nothing.
John, Walsall on November 28th, 2009
Hate it. Heidi Montag's rendition of Fashion (see, I call it a rendition even when it was her who sung it first, not Lady GaGa) is so much better - it hurts. Have fun in the Top 0, Chezza.
drew in redhill on November 28th, 2009
why do people feel the need to be so negative, it may not be your cup of tea, but cheryl deserves praise for the guts to go it alone and the video and song are a lot better than some of the crap out theres,.......Go cheryl!!!!! Good luck x
kerryann, UK on November 28th, 2009
wow first time i've seen Cheryl looking rough since her chav days...most overrated 'popstar' in years...wish she'd stick to being a backing singer in girls aloud...although of course with the help of cowell n x factor, and of course her looks, this will no doubt be the biggest selling single of the decade - what a load of crap!!
Chloe yng ngymru on November 28th, 2009
Likee the sonng not too sure on then video though
makson on November 28th, 2009
oh dear....this just doesn't cut the mustard. I'm not sure what Cheryl is thinking releasing this as the 2nd single as it lacks hooks, isn't catchy nor is it the kind of track you can dance to either. It just feels a bit dreary and never really takes off. The sooner she releases "Heaven" the better.
Mathew, Liverpool on November 28th, 2009
I L-O-V-E it!! Songs a grower but after a few listens im hooked!!! The video is a fantastic classy affair!!! Go Cheryl!!!
Maz, Walsall on November 27th, 2009
This isnt my favourite song, she should have released 'Boy Like You..' much beter song than this. Do not like the video either, although it has a madonna esque with a bit of Lady GaGa feel to it
Ben Kuwas, Houghton on November 27th, 2009
I like this song but the video is a pile of rubbish. Couldn't the director have created something better than drunken, eygptian dancers around cheryl. but she really suits the blonde wig
