Good news for GaGa, bad news for the 'Babes

Keisha Buchanan, are you reading this?

  • Tinie Tempah's on course for a third week at No.1 with 'Pass Out', while Rihanna's 'Rude Boy' is still right behind.

  • Lady GaGa and Beyoncé have rocketed into the top three with 'Telephone'.

  • Cheryl Cole's 'Parachute' has moved up a place since Sunday, but Gabriella Cilmi's 'On A Mission' has dropped down eight positions.

  • 'Hot', the UK debut from Romanian dance star Inna, is currently a kitten's whisker outside the top ten.

  • The Glee cast are on course to top the albums chart with their second volume of candy-coated cover versions, pushing Boyzone and Gorillaz down to second and third.

  • And the new Sugababes album? Well, it's currently pressing its nose up against the window of the top ten and keeping everything it could possibly cross crossed that it might find its way inside tomorrow.

  • That's your lot for today, but just drop any requests for Wednesday in the usual box. (Oh, and if any Sugababes fans out there are in need of a hug, we're more than happy to oblige.)

more glee updates!! there are plenty of tracks on the album that would do well in the singles charts. the cover of true colours is great.

I hope the management will finally realize that the Sugababes have now become just a total waste of money and drop them from the label. Until then, they will remain the overpublized embarrassment to the British Empire for now.

I'm not at all surprised at Sugababes' album position. I've always been a fan, but I'm honestly not bothered about them any more. Not just because of the line-up changes, but because the music has become generic and uninspired. The last 3 singles might of done well at the time, but they will be forgotten very quickly, unlike many of their past hits. I've heard the whole album and it follows the same pattern.

i love Glee, but Gorillaz Plastic Beach is amazing! the best album of 2010 as of yet and one of the best things music has offered us :) it deserves to be the top spot dang it! Telephone for #1! an amazing collaboration and i loved the song by itself when i heard it on Fame Monster and now with the video, i love it more!! best collab since Madonna and Justin with 4 Minutes, song of the Spring for sure! hope it stay for a while and breaks Poker Face's record last year :D. not much for Sugababes unfortunately, i used to like them though.hope Rock That Body by The peas cracks the top ten also, and Rihanna to get back into the top ten in the albums chart with Rated R and for her to hold on with the stunning Rude Boy :) sweet!

Really disappointed about the Sugababes album, but I've bought it, so I can't do anymore than that, I was hoping for at least a Top 5 debut, hopefully it'll go up by the weekend. Great news for Gaga & Telephone, but it rightfully deserves to be #1, Tinie has had it for 2 weeks now, even Rihanna should've been given a week at the top spot. I'd like to see how Paloma Faith, Mumford & Sons, Black Eyed Peas and David Guetta with "Memories" are doing.

Inna - Hot for #1! It's already topped the Ukrainian and Spanish charts (top 5 in Romainia) and I hope it does the same over here.

More GaGa update please. Haven't listened to the 'Babes album yet but from the singles it sounds good. And how the hell is Tinie Tempah still number one? How did it even get into the top 40....come on GAGA & BEYONCE!!!!

    Telephone for no. 1!!!!

It's a shame about the Sugababes really 'cos I think their album is really good - oh well it's early days yet they could still climb into the top ten their album is currently at No. 7 on the iTunes album chart so, yeah, I think it'll be in the top ten by the end of the week.

where is plaoma faith heading and are goldrrapp going to crack the top 40 this week with rocket???
Miles Pearce Basingstoke, on March 16th, 2010
Pass Out isn't even a good song, it's dull, boring, un original and just complete shit. God knows why it's gonna do 3 weeks at no1. GAGA - TELEPHONE for no 1 it deserves it more as it is 1,000,000 times better. Or at least put Rudeboy, Starry Eyed or Baby at the top spot instead of that drivel. THE ONLY REASON GABRIELLA CILMI IS SLIPPING QUICKLY IS BECAUSE IT IS NOT GETTING ANY AIRPLAY I MEAN IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN ADDED TO RADIO 1 PLAYLIST. for tommorrow, not the biggest fan of the song but how is "Rock Your Body" doing and i dont want it to happen but i think PALOMA FAITH is about to get FLOP NO 2, in a row.

Sugababes' new album is AWESOME! - My favorite ever Sugababes line up. I really do think it deserves to be top of the charts! Even over Glee which I adore!! As for Lady Gaga... I didn't like Telephone until the video came out no I want it to be #1 !! Come on Sugababes/Gaga !!
