You know what chartanatics, things are starting to get pretty interesting...

  • Olly Murs is still on course for No.1, but he's got Katy Perry snapping at his heels now the 'Teenage Dream' glitch has been corrected.

  • Pepper & Piano have been shunted down a spot as a result, but they're still inside the top five.

  • Adele's 'Make You Feel My Love' has slipped out of the top 20 since yesterday, but Ke$ha's 'Take It Off' is holding steady between the 25 and 30 posts.

  • Not too shockingly, there's no sign of Same Difference's bracket-tastic 'Shine On Forever (Photoframe)' in the top 40.

  • Katy remains ahead of Eminem and Disturbed at the top of the albums chart, with The Pretty Reckless right behind them and Everything Everything a kitten's whisker outside the top ten.

  • The Saturdays' album, meanwhile, is just adrift of the top 15.

  • If we had a beard, we'd be stroking it now while adopting our best "Hmmmm..." face.

Oh god, he's not in here too is he? *Yawn* See how bitter he is guys? Madonna wasn't even mentioned, yet he brought her up all the same. If Katy's "California Girlz" was so inferior to "All The Faeces", then why did it go to number one on both sides of the atlantic and Kylie's didn't? Truth is Kylie's single probably wouldn't have reached number 3 if Say Gay hadn't resorted to cheep tactics by emailing international fans to buy from the UK. All that and the promotion, yet she still failed to get to number one and why? Because the public didn't like it. Simple...even for you. Funny how you have nothing to back up your claims but silly opinions that don't even make sense. Either way, Katy's second single STILL charted higher than "All The Faeces". lol Obviously a case of sour grapes, doncha think? "All the Faeces" still going strong? Where's that...cloud cuckooland?

God, Kylie would give her left ball to be as young, fresh and popular as Katy is. Move over fag hag and make way for the fresh faced non botoxed all real Katy.

WELL KATY PERRY IS NOW NUMBER TWO IN THE STATES BECAUSE IT IS INSTANLY BLOCKED BY THE SUCH SUMMER SONGS OF THE YEAR WHICH MISSED OUT TO NUMBER ONE, THE U.S. TRIO EM 'N' RI ARE STILL KEEPING IT OFF. WELL WITH US, SHE'S NO. 2 IN BOTH COUNTRIES AT THE MOMENT. CAN SHE PULL IT OFF FOR NEXT WEEK WITH THE SCRIPT, ALEXANDRA BURKE, AND MCFLY. I HOPE SO, ALEX WILL PROUBALY GET NO. 1.

Just desserts for Katy after her dreadful Californian Girls kept Kylie's far superiour All The Lovers from getting to number 1 on the overall chart (although Kylie outsold her on CDs and vinyl).

I'm sure the Chart Update will reveal the rest of the Top 40 for me, but it's good to see the "Teenage Dream" glitch fixed, although I'm surprised she released the single and album at the same time, probably cost her another #1 to tell the truth.I've ordered both The Pretty Reckless and Everything Everything albums, so I hope they both do well. Also ordered the Klaxons one too, but after it slipped from 4 to 10 in the course of a few days, I can't see it sticking around in the Top 40 for too long, which is a shame.
