Good news for Burkey, McFly, Brandon, Hurts

You want a concise and timely bulletin from the Tuesday midweeks? Well chartanatics, you've come to the right place.
Alexandra Burke's on course to notch up a third No.1 with 'Start Without You', with her closest competition coming from Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' and McFly's 'Party Girl'.
The Script's 'For The First Time' is currently just outside the top five.
Must Be The Music's done it again... and twice over! Emma's Imagination is right behind The Script with 'This Day', while Pictures is inside the top 20 with 'Tears'.
Alesha Dixon, meanwhile, is a kitten's whisker outside the top ten with 'Drummer Boy'.
Sadly, at present there's no sign of Orianthi's 'According To You' in the top 40.
And the top of the albums chart? Well, Brandon Flowers is ahead of Katy Perry, who's ahead of Hurts, who are ahead of Eminem, who's ahead of Biffy Clyro... and that's your fill.
