Update: Burkey, Katy, Alesha, Ke$ha

Ding dong! Wednesday midweek bulletin calling!
As ever, if you've got any requests for the Friday update, just play pop fan postman and drop them in the slot below. We're all about the front doors today, aren't we?
- Burkey's still ahead of Katy Perry at the top, but Olly Murs has bounced back into the top three and McFly have slipped to the edge of the top five.
- Breathing right down the boys' necks are The Script and Emma's Imagination.
- Alesha Dixon's 'Drummer Boy' is now a couple of places outside the top ten, while Ke$ha's 'Take It Off' is two inside the top 20.
- Brandon Flowers is still fending off Katy Perry and Hurts at the top of the albums chart, while the xx - newly-lauded as they are - have zoomed into the top ten.

can we have an update of gabriella cilmi please? and imm glad alex is gettin number 1 i really like the song. although would love katy perry to get number 1 too. i also hope Alesha will climb. id Prefer her to get top 10 instead of Mcfly!

Emma's Imagination could nick the top spot by the end of the week because download sales and her good performance in Must Be The Music on sky 1 it's better x-factor, Must Be The Music will overtake the x-factor for real music in years to come.

There is some certainaly good news - Burke is still in the pole position and The Script have jumped to second position, update that on Friday's mid-week update please.

Next week's update - could be in for a eyesore - could it be the future Mrs. Brand climbing to number one, will it be Irish band The Script, or a instrumental song reaching the top for the first time in 11 years, only on download. so far it will not be 1 week crap #1's to think about if Burke gets another week at the top, because Example is the only not so decent song to reach the top, i think it'll get manage Top 5.
