Chart Predictions: LMFAO, Katy Perry, Foo's

Katy Perry ft. Kanye West - 'E.T.'
Apologies for the extended absence of our chart update, but we're pleased to say we're officially back! Last week's tally saw Jennifer Lopez's Latin-flavoured comeback effort 'On The Floor' hold firm at the summit for a second week, and some impressive climbs from Katy Perry, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj. Question is, can J Lo make it three in a row? Here are our predictions for this Sunday's Official Chart.

  • As they continue to gather momentum, LMFAO's 'Party Rock Anthem' looks certain to take the top spot this week, while Katy Perry's 'E.T' looks likely for a top three placing.

  • Elsewhere, expect Snoop Dogg and David Guetta's 'Sweat' to continue rising up the top ten from last week's ninth placing, and Chris Brown's 'Beautiful People' to land just behind it.

  • Further down the chart, we reckon Nicki Minaj's 'Girls Fall Like Dominoes' will break the top 30 this week, while Ke$ha's 'Blow' will make its debut on the top 40.

  • On the albums chart, Adele's record breaking 11-week reign will be thwarted by the Foo Fighters LP Wasting Light, and Glee's latest comp should earn them another top five set.

  • Meanwhile, expect Alison Krauss & Union Station's Paper Airplane to land in the lower half of the top 10, and Metronomy's The English Riviera to debut inside the top 20.
