Playlist: 10 tracks you need to hear

Published Monday, Aug 22 2011, 14:15 BST | By Robert Copsey | 19 comments
Listen below to our ten favourite tracks this week, including Jessie J, Erasure, Tyson and Lady GaGa.

Jessie J: 'Domino'
With a chorus reminiscent of Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night', it comes as little surprise that Jessie J's new US single shares the same producer, Dr Luke. With a hip-shaking guitar riff and uplifting chorus, fingers crossed it also sees a release on these shores.

Erasure: 'When I Start To (Break It All Down)'
Synthpop pioneers Erasure are back with a new single taken from their forthcoming album Tomorrow's World. Produced by Frankmusik, the track's swooping strings and quirky synths keep them as relevant as they were 25 years ago.

Lady GaGa: 'You and I (Mark Taylor Remix)'
For those still trying to get their heads around the music video for GaGa's latest offering, this reswizzle courtesy of Mark Taylor transforms it into a no-muss line dancing affair - where the only tricky part is mastering the shuffle step.

Dev: 'Perfect Match'
Dev ditches the vocoders and shows off her vocal chops in this piano-twinkling R&B ballad, which will appear on her debut album The Night The Sun Came Up, due out later this year.

Tyson: 'Fight'
Rising London singer Tyson has released his latest track 'Fight' - an '80s-flecked disco-pop number that sounds like a crossbreed of dancefloor classics 'She's A Maniac' and 'Beat It' - as a free download. Expect more funky offerings from his debut LP in early 2012.

David Guetta feat. Jennifer Hudson: 'Night Of Your Life'
Continuing the iTunes countdown to his new album Nothing But The Beat, Guetta has unleashed his latest club-pumping banger, which features the powerhouse vocals of US singer Jennifer Hudson.

Frankmusik ft. Colette Carr: 'No ID'
Vincent Frank follows up his party anthem 'Do it in the AM' with 'No ID', which is due out later this year. Featuring US singer-cum-rapper Colette Carr, if the bouncier-than-a-spacehopper chorus doesn't launch him to the top of the charts then nothing will.

Marina and the Diamonds: 'Radioactive'
Labelled as a one-off release ahead of her second album's official lead single, this Stargate-produced dance number takes precisely three listens before being firmly lodged in your brain. Watch the official music video, complete with dodgy blonde wig, below:

Wretch 32 & Emeli Sande - 'Underdog Law'
Following their battle for the singles top spot, Wretch and Emeli are offering this duet - which celebrates their chart success - as a free download for their fans. Listen to the track in full below:

The Whip: 'Keep or Delete'
The Mancunian trio return with a new electro-house vibe on their new single 'Keep or Delete'. The song is a toe-tapping mix of grungy electric guitars, funky basslines and a chorus with a strong whiff of '70s disco.
