Will Young 'Jealousy'
Wednesday's Official Chart update saw Olly Murs on course for his second number one on the singles chart, with strong competition from Calvin Harris, while Will Young looked likely to take the top spot on the albums chart with his latest LP. Ahead of Sunday's Official Chart, we look at the final midweek tally.

  • Olly Murs is still at the top with 'Heart Skips a Beat', followed by Calvin Harris's 'Feel So Close' and Will Young's 'Jealousy' in that order.

  • Outside the Top 10, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have slipped from Wednesday's position of nine to 11 with 'The Death of You and Me', while Lady GaGa's 'The Edge of Glory' climbs to 23.

  • Sean Kingston's 'Party All Night (Sleep All Day)' - officially released last December - leaps from 31 to 24 following its appearance on The Inbetweeners movie soundtrack, and Florence + the Machine's buzz track 'What The Water Gave Me' lands at 27.

  • On the albums chart, Will Young still holds pole position with Echoes, followed by Joe McElderry's Classic and Adele's 21 in that order.

  • Wretch 32's Black and White remains at number four, Barbra Streisand's What Matters Most is at seven and Hard-Fi's Killer Sounds slips to nine.

  • Next week's single releases include Ed Sheeran's 'You Don't Need Me', Example's 'Stay Awake' and Natalia Kills's 'Free', while Dolly Parton and David Guetta will be hoping to make an impression on the albums tally with Better Day and Nothing But The Beat.
