Sunday chart predictions: Pixie Lott, Saturdays, Example

Wednesday's midweek chart update saw a nail-biting three-way battle between Pixie Lott, The Saturdays and Maroon 5, with Pix just edging out her competition at the top.

Meanwhile, Example stormed the albums tally almost unrivaled with his latest opus. Ahead of Sunday's official announcement, we take a look at the final midweek tally.

Pixie Lott remains at the top with 'All About Tonight', while Maroon 5 and Xtina's 'Moves Likes Jagger' has ousted the Saturdays, who now sit at three with 'All Fired Up'.

Meanwhile, Leona remains at four with 'Collide', and last week's chart-topper Example slips to five with 'Stay Awake'.

Outside the Top 10, Snow Patrol continue to sit at 11 with 'Called Out in the Dark' and Adele is at 15 with 'Someone Like You' .

Rihanna's 'Cheers (Drink To That)' climbs a place from Wednesday to number 27, while Ms Dynamite's 'Neva Soft' falls two spots to 28, and Nicki Minaj and Riri enter at 38 with 'Fly'.

On the albums chart, Example continues to lead the way with Playing In The Shadows, followed by Adele's 21 and David Guetta's Nothing But The Beat at two and three respectively.

The Beatles' 1 is at number five and Doris Day remains at nine.

John Barrowman's Very Best Of zooms from Wednesday's position of 28 to 12, PJ Harvey's Let England Shake re-enters at 25 following her Mercury Prize win, and Mel C's The Sea falls from 31 to 35.

Next week's single releases include Coldplay's 'Paradise' and One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful', while Ed Sheeran, Laura Marling and The Kooks will be hoping to make an impact on the albums chart.
