Wednesday's chart update saw Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera finally climb to the top of the singles tally, while You Me At Six were on course for their first number one album.

Ahead of Sunday's official announcement, Digital Spy takes a look at Friday's midweek chart.

  • Maroon 5 and Xtina are still on course to nab this week's number one with 'Moves Like Jagger', ousting Sak Noel's 'Loca People' into second place.

  • Rihanna 'We Found Love'
  • Meanwhile, Rihanna zooms into third place with the Calvin Harris-assisted 'We Found Love'. Can she reach the top spot by Sunday?

  • LMFAO have slipped from Wednesday's position of seven to eight with 'Sexy And I Know It', while Bad Meets Evil slip from ten to 11 with 'Lighters'.

  • Further down the chart, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna climb from 13 to 12 with 'Fly', Marina and the Diamonds dips from 20 to 22 with 'Radioactive', and Florence + the Machine's 'Shake It Out' is at 24.

  • On the albums chart, James Morrison's The Awakening has overtaken You Me At Six's Sinners Never Sleep, which dips to second place.

  • Lady Antebellum
  • Lady Antebellum remain at four with Own The Night, Ben Howard is at seven with Every Kingdom, and Katherine Jenkins advances from 17 to 15 with One Fine Day.

  • Next week's releases include Gym Class Heroes' 'Stereo Hearts', Joe Jonas's 'Just In Love' and Matt Cardle's 'Run For Your Life', while Bjork, Evanescence and Jason Derulo will be hoping to have an impact on the album chart.
