Who is she?
An unsigned 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Bath who has been causing a bit of a stir online in recent months.
Why?
Because she has 6.5 million plays on her YouTube channel and has been 'liked' on Facebook by 21,000 people.
Haven't we heard all this before?
Yes, but in this case it's thoroughly deserved because her music is genuinely good.
What does her music sound like?
It's essentially acoustic folk-pop with a classic English rose-type vocal, or as she puts it: "ghosty pop/folk with hints of choirs and twinkly things!"
So she's a bit like Ellie Goulding then?
Sort of, but a lot less "produced" and with a bit more range. Her covers on YouTube range from Katy Perry to Two Door Cinema Club.
What has she achieved so far?
Her most recent, self-released EP 'Never Fade' went top 15 on iTunes and she's previously supported Charlie Simpson and Matt Cardle.
Which globally known artist might she or others make a wildly exaggerated comparison to?
Joni Mitchell.
What's her latest release?
Her third EP 'Home' is out today, which you can buy by clicking here. Watch the official music video below:
