Gotye was on course to return to the top of the singles tally, while Emeli Sandé's album looked likely to spend a second week at number one.

Gotye and Kimbra remain at the top with 'Somebody That I Used To Know', followed by Emeli Sandé's 'Next To Me' and last week's number one from DJ Fresh 'Hot Right Now' in that order.Meanwhile, Jessie J remains at six with 'Domino', Nicki Minaj holds at seven with 'Starships' and Gym Class Heroes are at eight with 'Ass Back Home'.Further down the chart, One Direction slip from 18 to 24 with 'One Thing', Cher Lloyd remains at 25 with 'Want U Back' and Coldplay land at 34 with 'Charlie Brown'. On the albums chart, Sandé continues to lead with Our Version of Events, followed by Adele's 21 and Ed Sheeran's +. Adele's 19 lifts from eight to six, Coldplay rise from ten to eight with Mylo Xyloto, and Florence + the Machine's Ceremonials advances from 12 to ten.Elsewhere, Band of Skulls fall from six to 13 with Sweet Sour and Blue's The Best Of is at 20.Next week's releases include Dappy and Brian May's
'Rockstar', Ed Sheeran's
'Drunk' and Chiddy Bang's
'Ray Charles', while the Ting Tings and Gym Class Heroes will be hoping for respectable positions on the album chart.
