On Wednesday's chart update, Carly Rae Jepsen was on course to debut at number one, while Nicki Minaj had stormed to the top of the albums tally.
Ahead of Sunday's Official Chart, Digital Spy
looks at the final midweeks. Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' is still in the lead, followed by Sean Paul's 'She Doesn't Mind' and Nicki Minaj's 'Starships' in that order.Chris Brown is at five with 'Turn Up The Music', and Emeli Sandé's 'Next To Me' is at nine. Further down the chart, Alex Day's 'Lady Godiva' remains at 11, Olly Murs holds at 12 with 'Oh My Goodness', and The Script's 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' is at 18. On the albums tally, Nicki Minaj remains at the top with Roman Reloaded, 9,000 copies ahead of Labrinth's Electronic Earth at two. Moshi Monsters remains at three, closely followed by Lostprophets at four with Weapons. Elsewhere, Orbital are at 11 with Wonky, Graham Coxon's A+E is at 22 and Demi Lovato's Unbroken lands at 36.
Next week's single releases include Brandy & Monica's 'It All Belongs To Me', Lana Del Rey's 'Blue Jeans' and Usher's 'Climax'.
