Sunday chart predictions: Cheryl, Usher

On Wednesday's update, Cheryl was on course to top the singles chart, while Gary Barlow continued to lead the albums tally.

Ahead of Sunday's Official Chart, Digital Spy takes a look at Friday's midweeks.

  • Cheryl's 'Call My Name' is still at the top, followed by Flo Rida's 'Whistle' at two and Gary Barlow's 'Sing' at three.


  • Meanwhile, Coldplay and Rihanna remain at five with 'Princess of China', and Precision Tunes' cover of Maroon 5's 'Payphone' has leaped from 14 to number ten.

  • Further down the chart, Emeli Sandé vaults from 25 to 18 with 'My Kind of Love', Justin Bieber and Big Sean's 'As Long As You Love Me' slips from 24 to 25, and Katy Perry's 'Wide Awake' lifts from 37 to 32.


  • Tyler James's 'Higher Love' falls from 30 to 34, and Kelly Clarkson's 'Dark Side' holds at 39.


  • On the albums chart, Gary Barlow's Sing remains at number one, closely followed by Usher's Looking For Myself at two.

  • Amy Macdonald's Life in a Beautiful Light remains at three, Maximo Park slip from six to seven with The National Health, and Paloma Faith rebounds ten to eight.


  • Elsewhere, Adele's 21 is at 14, and Kelly Clarkson's Stronger is at 33.


  • Next week's single releases include Maroon 5's 'Payphone' and Stooshe's 'Black Heart', while Cheryl, Justin Bieber and Sam Sparro will be hoping to make an impact on the album chart.
