No Doubt: 'Settle Down' (out September 17)
11 years after their last album and No Doubt prove they haven't lost their touch on 'Settle Down', mixing chart-friendly ska beats with Gwen's infectious vocal in a formula that saw them gain worldwide success first time out.



Nelly Furtado: 'Spirit Indestructible' (release date tbc)
Nelly's follow-up to 'Big Hoops' is a less in-yer-face affair, as she sings about her free-spirited nature over a wistful guitars 'n' synths melody. That said, we defy anyone to not recall the chorus after their first listen.



Alt-J: 'Tessellate' (out now)
Leeds band Alt-J have been causing quite the stir online with their latest track, which blends ambient electronics with rattling acoustics. The video is also a brilliant twist on Raphael's 'The School of Athens'.



Karmin: 'Brokenhearted' (out July 22)
Pop duo Karmin have already set the charts alight around the world with their latest track, and with its addictive electro riff and stadium-sized chorus, we're sure they'll have no trouble repeating its success on these shores next week.



Karima Francis: 'Glory Days' (out July 29)
Karima Francis is the latest singer-songwriter to catch the attention of the public with a stunning performance on Later...With Jools Holland earlier this year. Her latest track 'Glory Days' is an uplifting acoustic number that bares a more than a passing resemblance to Adele's 'Chasing Pavements'.



Ellie Goulding ft. Tinie Tempah: 'Settle Down' (out now)
Ellie has unveiled what she describes as a "taster" of her next album, which delves deeper into the spacey beats and epic choruses heard on her debut. Consider us fully excited, but fingers crossed the LP isn't a covers album.



Jakwob: 'Please' (out now)
Championed by the likes of Robyn, Annie Mac and Jessie J, hotly-tipped producer Jakwob is poised for success this year. 'Please' features on his latest mixtape and is a more subdued affair compared to his previous efforts, but the result is equally as compelling.



Far*East Movement ft. Cover Drive 'Turn Up The Love' (release date tbc)
Far*East Movement have had a hard time on the charts of late, so we're curious as to why they didn't release their summery hook-up with Bajan band Cover Drive sooner.



Maxsta: 'I Wanna Rock' (out August 5)
Say hello to 20-year-old Maxsta, who after paying his dues on the underground mixtape scene has set his sight on the charts with 'I Wanna Rock'. The track intertwines a loop from Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock's 'It Takes Two' (which was also used in Black Eyed Peas' 'Rock That Body') with his own rapping style.



Shanell: 'Just For The Night' (release date tbc)
You may not recognise her name yet, but you'll almost certainly know a fair few Shanell-penned hits, including tracks for David Guetta, Beyoncé, Ne-Yo and Kelis. Her latest mixtape, the creatively-titled 'Nobody's Bi@*h', is out July 23, and this lead track serves as a good indication of the electro R&B you can expect from her.
