The last 12 months have seen London-based Bastille swiftly transitioning from promising underground producer to an exciting new band in their own right.
Fronted by songwriter/producer/singer Dan Smith, the group - who recently signed a major label deal with Virgin - have been broadly labelled by music bloggers as "Coldplay meets Friendly Fires with an edge".
Their releases thus far have been limited to an impressive EP titled 'Overjoyed', a free mixtape and singles 'Flaws' and 'Bad Blood', but it's been more than enough for them to drum up a considerable amount of support. They recently supported Emeli Sandé for her iTunes Festival show and are scheduled to play a sold out headline gig at London's Koko next month.
They're currently gearing up to re-release live favourite 'Flaws' - this time with a proper music video - ahead of their debut album which follows in the coming months.
