Listen to our ten favourite new songs below, including Girls Aloud, Imogen Heap, Delilah, Grizzly Bear and Flume.
Girls Aloud: 'Something New' (released November 19)
It's been a long three years for Girls Aloud fans, but after hearing their comeback track, it's been more than worth it. Sassy sing-speak verses, Next Top Model strutting and one of the biggest choruses in pop this year makes it a welcome return for the UK's biggest girl group. LC
Imogen Heap: 'You Know Where to Find Me' (out now)
The sixth track from her heapsong project is a moody electronic ballad that is easily her poppiest effort since 2009's Ellipse. Better yet, the song also serves as the title track from her upcoming album, which is pencilled in for next year. RC
Flume: 'Holdin On' (release date tbc)
Aussie-based Harley Streten aka Flume has already found success in his hometown with new track 'Holdin On', which blends prog-hip-hop with squiggly electronics to spectacular effect. RC
Ne-Yo: 'Forever Now' (out November 26)
The R&B maestro fuses this piano-led number with fist-pumping trance riffs and bouncing beats, resulting in another radio-friendly anthem destined for the top ten. LC
Delilah ft. Devlin: 'Never Be Another' (out November 26)
Delilah has teamed up with rapper Devlin to add a bit of grit to her latest cut. The star's soulful tone broods over a mix of deep synths and light clap-beats, with smooth but sombre results. LC
Sylver Tongue: 'Something Big' (out November 5)
Former Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley now goes under the guise Sylver Tongue and mixes eclectic fuzzy synths with disjointed guitar riffs. She can currently be seen entertaining fans with her alternative pop as the opening act on Bat For Lashes' current UK tour. LC
Grizzly Bear: 'A Simple Answer' (out December 10)
Following the surprise success of their latest album Shields, Grizzly Bear are keeping momentum with their new single 'A Simple Answer'; an emotional number rich in production and packed with intricate melodies. RC
Tulisa: 'Sight of You' (out November 25)
After delivering summer dance anthem 'Young' and following it up with tropical cut 'Live It Up', Tulisa is predictably slowing things down on her third solo outing. The star grieves for a failed relationship over airy synths and piano riffs courtesy of US super-producer The-Dream. LC
Kryder ft. Bo Bruce: 'Damaged' (out November 12)
The elusive DJ and producer has unveiled an impressive reworking of Plummet's trance classic with the help of The Voice contestant Bo Bruce. RC
Apparatjik Presents Lowell: 'Kids' (out October 29)
After making a name for herself as part of the Apparatjik collective with the likes of Coldplay's Guy Berryman, Toronto-based Lowell releases her solo mini-album If You Can Solve This Jumble next week. Lead single 'Kids' is a blend of jangly melodies and military beats that has already struck a chord with Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw and Annie Mac. RC
