Sunday Chart Predictions: One Direction, Bruno Mars, Little Mix

On Wednesday's midweek update, One Direction were on course to claim their first UK number one album, while Bruno Mars headed up the singles tally.

Ahead of Sunday's Official Chart, Digital Spy takes one last look at the midweek standings.

  • Bruno Mars is still leading the singles chart with 'Locked Out Of Heaven', but One Direction are a mere 1,500 copies behind with 'Little Things' at two.


  • Little Mix: 'DNA' single artwork
  • Little Mix have slipped to three with 'DNA', Labrinth and Emeli Sandé are at four with 'Beneath Your Beautiful' and Gabrielle Aplin is at five with 'The Power of Love'.


  • McFly hold firm at seven with 'Love Is Easy', The Lumineers are at nine with 'Ho Hey' and Stooshe slide to 17 with 'Waterfalls'.


  • Lana Del Rey remains within the Top 30 with 'Ride', while Example is at 31 with 'Close Enemies'.


  • One Direction: Take Me home
  • Over on the album chart, One Direction have sold 123,000 copies of Take Me Home so far, while Rod Stewart trails at two with 41,000 sales of Merry Christmas Baby.


  • The Rolling Stones remain at three with GRRR!, but Green Day fall out of the Top 5 with Dos!


  • Further down, Christina Aguilera tumbles to 21 with Lotus, while Steps fall to 28 with Light Up The World.


  • Nex week's single releases include Girls Aloud's 'Something New', Olly Murs's 'Troublemaker' and Alicia Keys's 'Girl On Fire', while Rihanna, Little Mix, Example and Susan Boyle will battle it out on the album chart.
