THE SOUND's GOT MAIL! Another day, another popstar blog lands in our inbox. What have those lovely chaps from The Days been up to this time, eh? Well, watching football, eating breakfasts that Dr. Gillian McKeith wouldn't approve of and forgetting to pack up their musical instruments, it seems. Humph. Do some people never listen? We told them not to spend too much time tapping away on their bloody laptops...

"After Edinburgh we made our way down south and arrived in Cambridge on the eve the England football team were playing Croatia for European Championships qualification - this was a match that would decide how every Englishman would spend his next summer. Important, yes, and probably the reason why tonight's crowd was primarily female. What a shame!

We eventually arrived at the venue, having dodged our way around millions of cyclists/ students/ psychopaths, not to mention the odd ranting hooligan stumbling across the road singing 'Vindaloo'. During the load into the venue we discovered that we'd left both Tim's main guitar and Luke's keyboard stand up in Edinburgh. Luckily, a nearby music shop was still open so the ever ready Braveheart raced off in the van to pick up a new keyboard stand, while Tim had to make do with his spare guitar.

The show went really well. It's especially encouraging for us to see that 'the word' seems to be spreading, and more and more people are turning up for the shows each time to see us play.

The following day was Thanksgiving in the States, which meant a day off was in order. This gave us an excuse to sink a few bevvies and drown our sorrows, as we'd just watched England get knocked out of the European Championships. We stayed in a Travelodge just outside of the city and the next day ventured back in to have a proper look around. Six fry-ups and multiple cups of tea later, we found the local leisure centre and went for a swim. This gave us a chance to stretch our limbs and have a decent wash before we stopped off in Windsor, on the way to Bristol, to
have dinner with the Queen. Cheers Liz!

Bring on Brizzollllllllll..."

One day soon, we like to think that we'll be jumping into a swimming pool with The Days. We can but hope, Sound readers, we can but hope.
