Janet Jackson vs. Mary J. Blige

Wednesdays are always a bit boring, especially when Britney's been behaving herself, so we're starting a diva war to keep ourselves amused. We've nabbed the new videos from a couple of pop queens - a pair who've shifted more than 140m albums between them - and we want you to decide which one's better.
In the blue corner, it's everyone's favourite nipple-flashing kinkstress, Miss Janet Jackon. She's inviting us to "strum her like a guitar" on her new single 'Feedback'.
And in the red corner, we find the ultimate soul survivor, Ms. Mary J. Blige. She's keen to let us know she's doing 'Just Fine', and, unlike Janet, doesn't feel the need to mention her menstrual cycle in doing so.

i will always love janet,but being fair means watching both video's and seeing which one is better. And I say when watching the 2 video's Janet Jackson could most definatly show mary a few dance moves. What mary was wearing and doing in that video doesn't come anywhere close to janet's realm

Janet's video is much better and fun. I have to admit I was a Janet fan before th Superbowl but I think Im gonna get this album. I glad to see Janet back and I can't wait for the new album!!

The biggest surprise is JANET! Very nice song and vid. Oh, I like to hear that one in da club and see the video on tv!! But Mary J Blige is a pleasant surprise as well.

As many have already said, two very different artists with very different styles. However, Janet is doing a much better Miss Jackson than Mary is doing MJB. Janet has evolved while keeping her distinctive style, and specifically, the video is visually captivating. MJB's "Just Fine" is just that, decent at best. There is no growth or edge to this new single/video, unlike her last album.

Janet hands down although I love me some Mary and it is about time the majority recognizes her talent (sales wise). Janet gives me showstopping performances always, it never fails.

Mary has the soulful voice that real R&B is made of, and it earned her the title "Queen of Hip/Hop Soul". Janet has the catchy songs and revolutionary music videos. It's like comparing apples and oranges. However, if we're going to compare based on these videos, I'm going to have to go with Janet Jackson.
