The return of Ashlee Simpson

So, Ashlee Simpson is back: new nose, new rock on her finger and, most excitingly of all, new sound. In fact, Sister of Jessica has ditched the slightly dour radio rawk of yore - remember 'Pieces of Me'? - in favour of a somewhat unlikely Timbaland hook-up. Yup, him again.

The oddly-titled 'Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)' is not unlike Cyndi Lauper for the noughties: all chugging new wave guitar, kooky hooks and fresh-as-morning-dew production. The video, featuring Ashlee flying on a Rubik's Cube, Ashlee being set upon by The Borrowers and Ashlee being sectioned, is also bursting with ideas. Et voila!

'Outta My Head' didn't exactly set the US charts on fire, but can it do the business over here? Just hit the usual button to tell us what you think.

i love this song although her single that is being released in usa is way better its called little miss obsessive with the guy out of the plain white t's but this song is great 2

I think this is an amzing song, I absolutely love it. Very catchy, and loving the whole electirc new wave sound to it. I think it will do well.

I don't really like the song, it is kinda catchy but it is boring after the first few seconds. Not sure if it will do well here.

On first listen I was really dissapointed, but after a second listen I really like it now and I hope it does well here. But I doubt it will, though.

I Love this song, its amazing and very catchy. I have brought the video off itunes but they dont have the single yet and i have played it many times!!.... Only thing is she does not look like Ashlee Simpson!

It's a good song but it doesn't really have that feel to it. I think it may do well but people could get bored of it pretty quickly.
