Cyndi Lauper's night on the tiles

What happens when Robyn's wacky middle-aged Aunt decides she wants to go out dancing for the night?
OK, so Cyndi doesn't look entirely comfortable in the video, but 'Into The Nightlife' is a top-notch dance tune with as uplifting a chorus as we're likely to hear all year. The album from whence it came - which we wrote about a few weeks back - doesn't get a full UK release until September, but it's available on British iTunes now.
What do you think of 'Into The Nightlife'? Do you like the video? Use the space below to have your say.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, there are at least 3 better track on the elpee than this one. Still she seems like a rum lass, the type that would have no problem doing the Paul O' Grady Show! Hoorah!

I don't care about the video, it's the music which counts, and the song is fantastic, and so is the whole album. It's the best album of the year so far.

I loved Cyndi Lauper when I was little, the first album I ever owned was one of hers. The song is good but the video is uninspiring and slightly embarrasing. What happened to cool Cyndi?!

Great fun song!....Sounds a little like "Rhythm is a Dancer". Cyndi looks awkward only sometimes here(Let's face it....she's not the Pilates Dancefloor Queen that Madonna still is). I like when she's actually on the dancefloor. Otherwise she looks like a crazed Angela Lansbury(in a good way I think). I wish she would smile more.
