A cat in Australia has given birth to a kitten with two heads.
The kitten, born at the Swan Veterinary Clinic in Perth, Western Australia, is able to meow through both mouths but can only eat through one due to a cleft palate.
Vet George Huber and nurse Louisa Burgess delivered a litter of three, with the other two born without deformities.
Burgess told Australian website inMyCommunity: "I have seen cats with two tails and extra legs, but not this.
"It has a full tummy and it survived the night so that is a good sign. It seems content, it meows and purrs.
"This is the result of a congenital deformity. Something has gone wrong in the early embryonic development."
The kitten's owner reportedly plans to call it Mr Men or Quasi Modo.
