Woman jailed wearing cow costume

A woman in Ohio has been sent to jail wearing a cow costume.

Theme park employee Michelle Allen was arrested after she turned up to work drunk, began chasing children around and urged passers by to "suck my udders".

Allen was wearing her cow outfit when her police mugshot was taken and appeared in court wearing the costume.

Judge Mark Wall of the Ohio Municipal Court told the New York Post: "Michelle is pretty well known to us. She's 'struggled', to say the least."

The judge, who sentenced the 32-year-old to 30 days in prison, later remarked: "We get people dressed in various attire when they're in court. But this was a first, someone dressed as a cow."
