A Cambodian couple who broke up after 40 years have split their house in half.
The husband decided to cut the building in two and move his half to his parents' property.
The pair have also split the home, located in a village in the Prey Veng province, into two further sections for their children.
May Titthara, who wrote about the incident for the Phnom Penh Post, called the scenario the "strangest" she has ever seen.
"People there never saw this happen in a divorce. It is very interesting for them," she said.
